A very useful item if you have $300 to spend.

Good job that chap if flying it in a city. If he tried that out in the sticks I imagine a few shotgun owners would take a few pot shots at it.

That said... I WANT ONEEEEEEEEE omg... that looks like a lot of fun and the camera shots you could get.

Its almost freaky how we can buy these things for only $300. Makes you wonder about it. perhaps we will get used to seeing them and thus the Government can roll them out large scale. Similar to http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2012...ant-drones but then widening that to include our cities and general lives much like CCTV.
Control range is only 160 feet, 50 yards. That isn't that far. It would still be handy but I suspect they wouldn't last long as when they hit the limit they would just hover awaiting instructions.
Want to see what one like that can do with a 'little' modification?

Shit! You can run but you can't hide! Scary.
Thanks Paul, I certainly wish that I could have one of these. Absolutely Brilliant! Great for defence. Kenneth Eames.
I remember being watched by one of these things (not with machine gun) at Glastonbury festival a couple of years ago! Apparently it was for crowd control and not used in anyway for facial recognition.
I wasn't sure how it was going to help control a crowd of over 250.000 people, but what do I know?

What fascinated me was just how stable it was in the air and very very manouverable.
It moved away when loads of people started to throw things at it, they can reach a high altitude.
I've been reading about this things and some of them have been over 1-1/2 miles !

A couple of this things and you could keep them up to see when the hoodies and
other undesirables are coming your way.

I know that diamonds are a girls best friend but these would come a very close second
My mate's got one.

Come in kit form, simple to put together, and very modifiable.

Strong winds are a no go though, too light
