I'm going to be buying some thicker blankets, and some sticky back plastic ( isn't this what we covered our school books in?) for the windows, making some draft excluders from old clothes and buying some newer uht milk in case it's snowy or too cold for the shops. I know I should be able to brave some snow - and I can - but I'd rather not 'have' to if theres some uht for a cuppa tea

Any links for the plastic stuff for the windows?

NR got it in one ...was recommended to me by the old ladies in the village they all swear by it!
