Someone may like them. Got 2 for the landrover so far so good.
nice item but the cheapest/smallest is 50 quid! i can get wooden boxes cheaper and they do the same job, and when i am finished with them i can break them up and use them in the Rocket Stove!!Big Grin
Prefer waterproof plastic tubs myself but those alloy ones do look nice.

I use the plastic tubs too. They get a bit brittle in mid winter and I have had some breakages.

The allow ones look geat, but are too expensive for me.
Ive used plastic boxes and they've broken in weeks besides so called heavy duty plastic boxes are anything upto £20. Ive used wooden boxes because off the punishment on an overland expedition they to fall to pieces granted they do last longer. So i thought i would treat myself to some ally boxes, in a end of world situation these would provide more possibilities of use.

Car repair pieces (bodywork), arrowheads etc.
Can you think of anything else that they could used for?.
I like Pelican cases, built tough but still expensive.

thanks for the link, I tend to use RUBS for storage
Yeah I've got RUBitus got about 11 different sizes in use, get mine from Staples usually.
Had really useful boxes for some of my preps but in the rover even they busted after 6 weeks.
