Daylight robbery, its amazing how your cave can cost that much.
This property is in the SOUTH HAMS the most expensive area in the south west(apart from Sandbanks that is), we have seen the property we want, thatched 3 bed cottage, .5 acre of land mostly woodland, in the countryside NO near neighbours, on a traffic free country road, price £290K.
Its annoying, we havnt evolved that much. We still have our caves to eat, keep warm and sleep in, just now caves cost hell of alot more.

Bp is that a bol when it kicks off?
This time of the year around here all the "holiday homes", second homes of those damn Londoners, are empty, not to be used for the next 6 months, if you need somewhere to stay short term. Wink

it COULD be! i've got a list of several within 10 miles of our home, in every direction so if one is unusable cos the roads or countryside is blocked off with refugees or something similar, i've got alternatives.
