Simply put, because the ground is already super saturated with water from record breaking rainfalls, this means a tiny bit of rain could potentially cause more flooding.
"But wait Scythe" I hear you calling. "The temperature's dropping really quickly, and it's already 0 degrees or lower most nights." Spot on. Which could lead to a very interesting winter indeed. Frozen ground, for a long time......hours of fun!!!
