ive been thinking of building a clay tandoor , simple to build and you can cook most things in it pretty easily once youve got the hang of it.
easy to make naan type bread which I prefer over normal loafs anyway.
cant see it being any good for cakes though but i could be wrong.

I had thought maybe flatbread type creations would be a good foodsource. Obviously to be able to roast or bake something gives you a valuable extra cooking option

same thinking , and naan are easy in a clay tandoor. you just make the dough and slap it round the inside, its cooked when it falls off lol.
it does a pretty mean roast chicken too.

Iv made a wood burning pizza oven which will cook anything and if you look after it will cook it really nice, there are a lot of links to making nice ovens on here
