I thought I'd do the formal thing and introduce myself.
I initially followed my reawakened instinct for preparing for 'stuff' by joining another UK forum, but two areas of concern for me, self-defence and hunting, seemed to be a bit frowned upon, so I found a place it wasn't.

I have a reasonable stock of medical supplies and I'm building up a stock of food and water and I also have my eye on a little crossbow.

I live in a first floor flat in a 2 story block in a semi-rural small town, open countryside is 5 minutes walk away and if stuff kicks off here it's going to be easier to handle than the major city centre I was previously in.

Although I'm single with no kids I'm partly preparing to support myself and a couple of friends should something short-term occur.
