Might be worth talking to the american members on this forum and see if they can get them cheap localy and ship them across, or ask beardy?
Your missing the point. They ain't cheap here or there.
Personally, I would have difficulty justifying to myself spending that much on a blanket no matter how good it is.
Youd be amazed at what people get rid of without knowing the real value
but there asking price is way out of my budget

Get yourself on ebay when the weather warms up.
I bought a load of woollen blankets late last year and have slept much better;
using 100% wool blankets; with 100% cotton sheets; and 100% wool filled pillows.
