Just a general observation really, but i've noticed in the last 3 weeks or so a massive increase in the number of dead seagulls lying around the place?

is this just local to me or has anyone else noticed it?
not seagulls around here...its dead crows...I wonder if it the pesticides their putting on the fields??
Down here in Ayrshire Binnie, the flying rats are alive and kicking and feeding on dead tourists (and their fish suppers!) Big Grin
Could be a cull of some sort?.
I wish I did see dead seagulls everywhere. Bloody things..

In Newquay you have to put heavy tarp/fabric over your bins to stop them shredding your bags open all over the pavements.
Plenty of live ones around here!
Plenty of live seagulls here as well. Maybe, pollution or poisoning by the local authority. So many strange things going on in the World. I hear lots of strange things from people. I'm very pleased I live in Scotland away from many strange things that happened where I used to live in West Sussex.
Kenneth Eames.
All seagulls are alive and kicking in this part of the world
hmmm must be something local, i've noticed they seem to be getting very brave with their foraging.

i'll keep my eyes peeled
Sandeels are getting hammered by the Dutch in the North Sea around Dogger a few weeks back, could have meant a lack of food.
