KE Would that be the Morecambe petulengro's?
Woodsman, I don't know the answer to that. Leo and Leon both wrote books on Herbal Medicine and they were certainly well known throughout England. The Petulengros' were also well known to George Borrow who wrote several books. They were Lavengro and Romany Rye. He also wrote a book on his wanderings through Wales. I have forgotten the Title.
