If it's a solid piece of kit it could cover the hunting roles for both xbows and an air rifle.

Its a comprimise, can you afford any sort of comprimise in your security ??
It is not a compromise. It is a multi role weapon which can do a couple of things. I don't have a weapon that can fire steel balls at 420fps. None of my air weapons do.
