Dunno what happened to the text from my earlier post so I'll try again

Ordinary squaddies are put out to grass around 42 years, Officers 55 years, but specialists like Comms or Medics or Engineers can be retained under special rules. There are some in their 60s.

It looks like the UK returnees are going to be put on to the olympics. It doesn't sound like much but battle trained troops with heavy weapons are going to be deployed in large numbers on british soil in peacetime.

It sets a precedent which I'm sure will be used for every political event after that.
How convenient deploying 13,000 battle hardened troops to the capital at the same time most forcasters suggest the current economic problems are likely to trigger riots and protests much larger than ever before. Just as other forcasters suggest the EU problem is likely to come to a head and for the spooky types on the lead up to the end of the mayan callender

I dont mean to be disrespectful to our community but if any serious prepper considers going inside the M25 boundary during the Olypics you must be either suicidal or just ****ing stupid.
Londonistan is the LAST place i want to go!
it could be a start of a new game or film escape from london how scary?????
