Hello Everyone.

Get those diaries out.

Camping on the night of the 12th, orienteering on the 13th.

We'll be doing a bit about comms and a lot about map reading in preperation for some awesome orienteering set up by myself, wife, and crazy puppies (they may well be coming along....sorry in advance. Balls chopped though, so should be much calmer).

Remember, there are some pretty funky prizes available for post SHTF life. So make sure you come along and bring your A-Game!
GPS not allowed Big Grin ... funnily enoughi think i'm down in the southwest that weekend , watching my daughter play basketball for the southwest...newton abbot there based.
Our map for the orienteering is the OS OL28
Cool S13. Will pm you in a bit Smile
Can't do this one, too many other commitments.
BUMP.
Off we set. I got 1 hour 20 to drive, so it's really close. Orienteering seems to be off because many have to get home to their OH's. That's okay though, we'll be having some fun and learning loads while we're there.
At this time, I guess you're well into your programme - I hope all is going well and that you're getting everything you hoped for from your weekend. I also reckon that the weather will be testing you considerably... I wish you good prep and a bucket of luck!
I was looking for the blow by blow updates. Did anyone make it there, has anyone had it overnight?
Write-up on it's way.
