Welcome from South Bucks
Welcome to the forum, from Wellington.
Hello from North Devon, though I'm also a newbie....
Wow, strong element from the SW, Good to see.
Well the South West is the real centre of the universe isn't it??

We have a regular meet down on Dartmoor, but that usually descends into drunken antics with the occasional awesome chat, some map work, radio work, and little bits here and there.

Mostly we're a camping group, practicing with our equipment, and all with certain shared expectations. WTSHTF, I know there are certain people I can definitely trust, and I know their capabilities. We're not in a position to start building a locked and loaded retreat together, but that's not really our plan. Our plan is to swap skills, learn from each other's gear, share skills, practice together, and have fun in the process.

Can't go wrong with that as a basis to start from.
Hello Moletrapper - and welcome from SW Scotland. Sounds like you've been through the wringer mate but out the other side with things looking up. I know what it's like to have the 'buggered up' bits though - I'm in a wheelchair most of the time...
Hi from Buxton, love the south west and far north west which is why we're in the middle I guess..
