Okay, we're going to have a great one here!

You will need to bring your basic gear, but also any comms and local area maps.

I'll be going over a lot of stuff with fire-craft and a few other outdoor skills.

There's even the possibility of some awesome map reading and orienteering, if you've got enough energy on the Saturday.

You'll want some kind of optic, e.g. binoculars or monocular.

Good walking boots or shoes. I'll probably be in Vibrams or something like that...because I quite enjoy being particularly impractical haha.

But we are looking at a nice simple walk, could be road miles or more 'back country' walking. But having good footwear is an obvious must!
