I grow a lot of Herbs in my garden and for years have just put them in "baggies" in the freezer and take the amount I need from the bag. This isn't too bad but one thing I notice is that the chopped herbs can be hard to handle from frozen as they tend to defrost and stick to your hands as you handle them. Try chopping the herbs very finely and putting them into deep ice cube moulds, when you want some just pop one out of the mould, it's very easy and you can judge the amount better.
You can freeze eggs the same way, as long as they arent in their shells
so madgirl151 you just crack the egg into the tray ? can you still fry them ,
The egg freezing was new to me as well, just found this for more info:

This is exactly what I was going to recommend. I use this system when making omolettes. If I have more egg whites, or more yokes, the spares go into the ice cube tray to be used next time.

Highly recommend having a seperate tray for eggs and another for ice cubes though.
