"Zombie" has recently become a euphamism for "desperate post-event person".
Major ammunition manufacturer Hornady has a whole "Zombie" range of hollow point ammo:

thing is steve most people will look at zombie and just laugh it off, great way to side step the real agenda .....maybe ? Who knows ? But its a lot of hollow point armo ......they make a mess, stop you dead.

The US government has become more active in wanting the general population to have enough supplies to provide for their own care, or shelter in place, during the gap between a disaster and the response of TPTB to the disaster, which is usually 3-5 days over here.
The "Zombie" adds were bouncing that need off the popularity of one TV series we have over here called "The Walking Dead", where survival is a daily battle in a post apocalyptic world.
Among the prepper/survival community over here the "Zombie" term has become synonymous with the concept of "sheeple that survived", making them a dangerous presence.
One major forum over here capitalizes on the term and is making some website managers wealthy. ( Yes people make money managing websites over here with income from advertising and "pay per link click")

i do not believe in Zombies as in the Hollywood variety, but I do believe there will be zombies post SHTF in the form of the diseased and the dying.

its more like black v white but they wont say it that way, the city where the cops shot dead that black kid 75% black 25% white, most cops and most of the good jobs in the 25%.

You have absolutely zero idea what you are talking about and your statistics are skewed.
Ferguson is simply a neighborhood inside the larger city of St Louis, Missouri and has a heavy ethnic/racial disparity similar to any other section of any other metropolitan city in the world.
The entire city, nor the entire nation, can not be judged by the lopsided ratios inside an impoverished section that makes up any city. It is like saying that all of the UK is a copy of the worst neighborhood in London or Bristol.
All any black person, or any other ethnic individual has to do to become a police officer, or hold any other civil service position, is have the proper qualifications and apply for the position.
No mention that the young man that was "shot dead" did enough damage to the police officer to place him in hospital for over a week before the officer used deadly force!
Or that one other officer has been killed while patrolling that section of the city since the end of the hostilities.
The real meaning of the term "Zombie" is the mindless mob that believes everything they see on TV or reads in the media rags and forms opinions with out facts to back them up and/or allows the passage of laws to "protect" them while stripping away their humanity.
Stupid knows no ethnic, racial or nationalistic barriers.

Just saw another article today about zombies being used as the basis for disaster prep training in the US:

I guess whatever gets the message across is good, although if people will only take heed of a prep warning if its against a fictional disaster, I guess they still won't be much use in a real emergency.
