I have just received an email from UK Power Networks asking me if I need extra support during a powercut. Do they know something I don't??

They must think youre old, infirm or off your trolly ?

None of those things! Cheek! Why ask me now though - are they plotting?

Selling generators I presume?

Unless SD has been flogging our email addresses to interested parties

there was an announcement in the press that if we have a cold winter this year, the time when demand will outstrip supply( possible power cuts or brown outs) was estimated to be 11-16 January 2016.
maybe it was in response to that??
