The girl jumping into the 4X4 was the remade Survivors NR.
Some parts of the remake made me think about preps a bit (like using a car jack to rescue people in a collapsed building), however stuff like the local tyrant only being armed with a shotgun just made no sense whatsoever.

The remake made me think that everyone south of Birmingham was a Vegan, disabled, Minority community, gay, criminal, labour voting, guardian reading, single parent Welshman with a strong pacifist instinct. It was crap and I thought it could not get any worse then they remade Day Of The Triffids and I see the bad guy is a bloody Transvestite !!!!. Even The Last Train was not very good. After that I stuck with US made dramas like TWD or THE LAST SHIP and the superb Jericho.
