Whalley in Lancs is flooding as are other places like Hebden bridge in Yorkshire, Govt has issued RED flood alert for Lancs and surrounding areas.

I spotted the displaced manhole covers on Sky News reports, they could be lethal to pedestrians.

The floods are spreading according to the BBC with flooding in North wales, Lancs, Cumbria, bits of Manchester / Leeds, West Yorks, Cumbria, Northumberland and Scotland, Some places have not flooded in over 80 years !!.

Oddly enough fires in Southern Austrialia and massive floods in South America and being linked like our floods and the droughts in California to the record El Nino event.

all this over xmas too when everybody inc the emergency services want a few days off.
