Just breaking it looks like the huge great power station at Didcot has just about been blown to pieces? Did B is a gas fired station the neighbouring Did A was coal fired and closed down a while back

Now conflicting news saying it may be the OLD power station Did A has blown up??

BBC confirmed Didcot A the OLD power station went bang, least one fatality sadly.

Just been watching it on the news. Bizarre really, no-one seems to know what happened.

Looks like a terrible accident, but I'd bet that the contractor carrying out the dismantling works simply removed a key structural member (or two) which led to the subsequent catastrophic failure of the remaining structure.
