My EDC is an old Wouxan1. My at home rig is a Kenwood TS480SAT with an Astron 33 power supply and a home-brew antenna for 20 and 40 meters. I'm looking for Santa to get me a 12 volt battery backup with a solar panel.

i was vhf station, made a nice 140mile qso on roll up j pole.....
totally off grid, solar/battery power...
