You may or may not be aware the government is in a consultation period to bring in a total lead ban for shooting.
By consultation, they mean we've made our mind up and will ban lead. It's a load of bull hooks and yet another back door ban on shooting.
But the implications are drastic, none lead air rifle pellets are naff as are none lead .22 rimfire ammunition (in fact none lead rimfire is so bad it would not be ethical to hunt with it) None lead centrefire is okay but extremely expensive.
None lead shotgun cartridges will make thousands of shotguns unusable (none steel proofed)
The ban is coming folks, within the next 5 years, so stock up where you can.
