RE: Rubber Dinghy or 2-Person Kayak - Skean Dhude - 21 May 2012 Most certainly, if you are by the sea, a river or a canal. RE: Rubber Dinghy or 2-Person Kayak - TOF - 21 May 2012 Looks worth £40 if it does what you want it to do. RE: Rubber Dinghy or 2-Person Kayak - Timelord - 21 May 2012 Not necessarily. If it lets you down at a critical time, then it is worse than not having it at all and using an alternative! You don't usually get a lot of build quality for £40. It would need a careful inspection and consideration of where you would actually use it. It's not like you can carry it around too easily. Chinese by any chance?? ok for fun imo RE: Rubber Dinghy or 2-Person Kayak - Nemesis - 21 May 2012 Yeh just a bit of fun for the kids never really been into boating so don't know much about it, it flouts they have fun we go home kind of thing, does seem a lot of kit for the price though. I've seen a few similar boats. price range from £90 to £300. RE: Rubber Dinghy or 2-Person Kayak - Timelord - 21 May 2012 For fun use only it looks a bargain! No need to apoligise. I just didn't believe you could buy one new for that money. Thus it was 2nd hand. I would imagine that it would be really thin for that although for that price you could have a very handy BOV. |
