Just wondering what it is that you folks are currently most concerned about, I appreciate your concerns vary over the year but what is it this week are you most concerned about?
My own top three are
1 Katla
2 The EU crisis
3 Immigration to the UK / social unrest

Katia is something I don't bother about. I have done a lot to prepare for that already.
My concerns are corrupt and incompetent government leading to the persecution, EU crisis, broken economy, debt and uncontrolled social spending.
I'm not bothered about immigration as much because as soon as we stop paying out to those that don't pay in that will resolve itself. Social unrest is less to do with immigration, it is a contributor, it is more to do with powerlessnes.

immigration first, followed by the EU crisis.

the social unrest following any event. though I feel that economic collapse seems the most likely cause of this.

BP,
We can't do it that way. The EU is the main reason for the immigration. You don't look at fixing the knife woulds in your body until you have stopped your attacker with the knife.
Remember when you look for the reasons to any problem always start with the government. It saves a lot of time as they usually have a finger in there.

1. Social unrest caused by any number of issues
2. EU crisis and the EU/UK Government in general
3. Iran, or more precisely, what we are about to do to Iran

I believe the Euro crisis, whilst real enough, is being used as a stick to beat the Eurozone states into a more openly fascist EU superstate. I'm not convinced therefore of any total collapse of the Euro, but perhaps there will be a wave of panic and ATM shutdowns caused by the birth pangs of this new continental monster, possibly even felt here in the UK for a time.
More worryingly is the finishing touches being added to the infrastructure of the unfolding US dictatorship:
FEMA camps being "activated" according to today's reports;
The indefinite detention bill (whereby US citizens worldwide can be arrested by the US military and held indefinitely without charge or trial);
The de facto US military annexation of Canada being brought to pass this week;
Iran being setup for attack;
Syria being set up for attack;
Russia getting all nasty and threatening to put its missile shield on high alert (and now there's been a crackdown in Moscow against irate protestors, just as there was in Syria, Libya, Egypt, et al);
The USA opening a new Marines base in northern Australia;
And the UK government telling its embassies to prepare for major civil unrest across Europe.
Any one of these on their own would be disconcerting, but all of them together (and I'm overlooking many more similar examples) can mean only one thing: major world events are on the horizon. What we're witnessing are the opening moves in a massive strategic game that seems set to rock the planet.

I'm becoming firmly of the believe that this entire euro crisis is being deliberately engineered by the socialists and other federalists to force through the creation of a single european socialist super state WITHOUT the people being given any choice.
