One of the U.S. sites says Mc Donalds and such use them to get their pickles in over there. I dont know if they do here but it may well be worth asking a manager of your local Mc Donalds. They did however mention the problem of a pickel smell to the buckets, but I'm sure theres a cure for that, maybe bicarb of soda or some such thing.

We do not have a McDonalds here, which is a pity. I like pickled onions, etc. I would like to have the buckets to make pickle in them. Kenneth Eames.

good find, i usually get mine free from a bakery, but this is good as a back up supply.
