RE: Rubber Dinghy or 2-Person Kayak - Tonka - 21 May 2012 I have a similar 2 person kayak. That one has a better colour scheme than mine. I live on a harbour, so in effect I have a several thousand gallon paddling pool in my front garden. We use it on that as the harbour waters are usually calm, but I wouldn't use it for real sea kayaking. I find it quite hard to manoeuvre but that could be more about my technique. I'm Ok in a traditional row boat but I find I'm battling to go in straight line in that. I haven't had much practice though. I also have a 4 man motor dingy, that is about the minimum I would use for any survival purposes. But for fun and £40 that Kayak looks to be a good deal, if you have the right place to use it. RE: Rubber Dinghy or 2-Person Kayak - bowdrill - 21 May 2012 wouldnt eat much space in the bov and if you ended up by a lake i find it easier to get out and catch fish ?? b/d RE: Rubber Dinghy or 2-Person Kayak - Barneyboy - 22 May 2012 (21 May 2012, 09:14)WetandCold Wrote: Worth £40? i like that alot |
