what about prisons and castles? country mantions would imo be one of the best bol's if it was possible. the grounds are usually hidden from the outside, main roads ect plus the grounds offer perfect opportunity's to pick off a would be looter or hit squad with a crossbow or gun. all rooms have fire places so heating is possible. the grounds are usualy 50% self sufficient with veg and game. my bol is more hunter gather living.
