bury traps underground for a month or two,this removes any smells on them,then bait them with chocolat.if shooting them,mix catfood and peanut butter in a food blender till it is nice and runny(i do this when swmbo is out) and place it where you want to shoot them.the smell drives them crazy and they can,t pick it up and run off,giving you more time to aim.
