RE: Loft Project Fun! - Skean Dhude - 11 June 2013 Boring is best when it comes to prepping. The KISS principle. Sorry if it caused offence. RE: Loft Project Fun! - Tarrel - 11 June 2013 You could put an antenna up there if you're into comms. Less conspicuous than on the roof or a mast, but almost as effective. http://www.qsl.net/g3pto/roofant.html Or, additional water storage? I took it as a valid comment. RE: Loft Project Fun! - BeardyMan - 11 June 2013 Don't put anything with a heat signature up there as you'll undoubtedly get a visit from Old Bill eventually. Trick to beating these heat cameras the police have is to make the footprint the same as something you would find in a house that puts out heat. i.e tumble-dryers. If you want to grow whatever up there with lights etc, keep it small scale, then that'll probably slip through as the heat from an appliance, instead of a "farm" |
