RE: Treehouse Masters - Tibbs735 - 21 October 2013 Don't get me wrong, I think that treehouses have many advantages , but if I was going to build one, I would probably go down the covert route. I'd be interested in hearing any ideas as to how to camoflage them. I think they would be good as a lookout post or a way of getting a different angle on a possible avenue of approach to your retreat area. I would prioritise building a underground shelter first, like a zemylanka, but that's just my preference. RE: Treehouse Masters - PreparednessUK - 21 October 2013 If your looking at underground look for the old ww2 bunkers I have found 5 in my area which are in a wooded area. The local kids go drinking in a couple but there is one covered in brambles which is left alone. I'm looking at boarding it up to see if it gets interfered with and go from there RE: Treehouse Masters - Skean Dhude - 21 October 2013 Pick your trees, a wooded area, and build carefully and they will be hard to see. |
