Thanks for the advice people. I'll look at that video today T-oddity.

Midnitemo, is it best to use a clean gun then or one that haa had a few rounds through it? As for firing, I was mainly using the pad on my finger but sometimes used the crease.

For stance, which is best? Side on (with 1 foot nearer the target than the other) or forward facing (both feet roughly the same distance from the target?

the first rounds are high usually but not alway's due to less friction but sometimes low cos off overoiling ... the gun will settle down into a consistent point off aim after a couple of shots , i know stalkers that don't clean there bore between stalks or after they've been on the range zeroing....its not a big difference on a 20m range but it can be as the ranges increase....snipers know there gun intimately and know what adjustments to make for a coldclean/fouled bore shot...
