RE: Avoid Hospitals - bigpaul - 30 December 2011 When we lived in Somerset Yeovil hospital was the one that had the highest rate for MRSA and vomiting bugs, having said that their A&E dept. did a good job of sewing up my lip when i split it on the kerb, OH had her hip replacement in a private hospital in Shepton Mallet that does work for the NHS, several years ago, and would recommend it to anyone. on the other hand Exeter RD&E at Wonford is full of bugs, full of people, and absolutely STINKS as soon as you get inside the front doors, makes me want to throw up every time, thankfully we dont have any reason to go there anymore-"touch wood." RE: Avoid Hospitals - Kenneth Eames - 31 December 2011 Most Glasgow Hospitals have MRSA. A friend of mine who I treated for a serious illness and who I cured, was called in to Glasgow Southern General Hospital for a check-up, after six months of being cured. He died of the dreaded MRSA. His family were horrified when they visited the Hospital when he was admitted, they saw the curtains were blood streaked and the small side room was filthy. Kenneth Eames. RE: Avoid Hospitals - iaaems - 31 December 2011 My recent experiences of a tortured weekend in our 'local' hopsital are confirmed by the previoius comments and I can agree with the 'western decline' angle. There does seem to be a general malaise in place. The 'system' used in the NHS is, in my opinion, overly complex and cumbersome. Having said that at my very local level it works well but as soon as you get to the so called 'centres of excellence' it all falls down because of the system and reduced facilities. RE: Avoid Hospitals - Skean Dhude - 31 December 2011 Central planning. The myth that a person in London can manage every system all over the country efficiently. The socialist mentality that says what is good for one person, him, is good for everyone. Rule making and blind obedience. No one is responsible if they follow the rules. You need me to go on? RE: Avoid Hospitals - Skean Dhude - 31 December 2011 Socialism is communism's little brother. The real state violence is yet to come. RE: Avoid Hospitals - Kenneth Eames - 1 January 2012 You are absolutely right SD. At the next General Election Labour will be back in power. All I hear now, in this neck of the woods is griping from the Sheeple. There are very few here that can stand on their own two feet. It is a strange thing, people think they have a right to be fed and clothed for free, at the expense of the working population. Kenneth Eames. RE: Avoid Hospitals - Skean Dhude - 1 January 2012 That is if we get one. Because there is no money then the state will need to get a bit more forceful about what it does. That is when socialism changes to communism. RE: Avoid Hospitals - bigpaul - 1 January 2012 there is another 3 years of this BS, the next election isnt due until 2015, first we got to get through all the Olympics BS first. RE: Avoid Hospitals - iaaems - 1 January 2012 Going a bit off topic here - but the olympics was set up under the last lot who then admitted that if they had known that the country was in such a bad economic state they would not have put in a bid (?) Says it all really doesn't it? |
