When I left the army after doing my 22 I took over running a Light Infantry cadet detachment, was great fun.

I think that this will help reduce the crime around.People who want to play rough will have somewhere to do it and learn. They will be taught morality and decency at the same time.
Being a scout leader sounds interesting. I'm not sure you will get much survival related training from it though. When I was in the scouts I had a knife, now you can't even glare at someone.
