RE: lamping - bowdrill - 3 March 2012 good in burgers to ![]() b/d RE: lamping - Walker - 19 March 2012 Those of you who cannot or will not own firearms can take advantage of lamping by using running dogs. Whippets, greyhounds or lurchers (which are crosses NOT a breed!!) Anyway it works much the same as lamping with a gun except you keep the lamp on the prey as it runs away and your dog will catch it for you. Simples. RE: lamping - grumpy old man - 19 March 2012 did lamp loads when young just for fun the dogs are great to watch happy days RE: lamping - bowdrill - 19 March 2012 i do lamp with a couple of mates with dogs it is excellent to watch and can be very productive b/d RE: lamping - bowdrill - 26 March 2012 pissed right off hopeing for a couple more bunnies for the pot but they have young already i know there breeding most of the year now but these were young must have been born around xmas so willstop lam ping now untill later on in the year b/d RE: lamping - grumpy old man - 26 March 2012 why? i still kill rabbits with young or not it keeps the farmers sweet which means i still get to use their fields to myself RE: lamping - bowdrill - 27 March 2012 i do if they need clearing but i dont like killing next season's stock till it's got a bit of meat on ,kill them all no point going to the field's and i do get the fields to myself by controlling the population b/d |
