I'm glad you all made it OK. From the news over here, you were getting a combination of hurricanes Katrina and Sandy, with a bit of a typhoon and a tsunami thrown in for dessert.

It was a non-event here in Norfolk. A few heavy showers and that was it. Phew - dodged a bullet!

No storm, no heavy winds just a bit of rain, yet to listen to the news you would think the end of the world was coming, then again the "world" according to the news people is the South East isn't it.

One tree in park near me was split right in half, poor thing. Nowt much else.

All those billions poured into the Met office and they can't get it right. First of all no storm and we were beaten to a pulp, now there will be a storm and very little happens.

Yet they can predict to half a degree what the weather will be like in 50 years.
