Plan B is another vehicle and that was still good to go. If the fateful morning had been the moment of having to evacuate, we'd have been OK.
Point of the post was to highlight that sometimes, even the best laid plans can get bent out of shape by unforeseen circumstances.
As hard as we try to make things fool-proof, we will never succeed because fools are so ingenious!
