Plastic ones are known to split along the seam if dropped. Machine m,art does a good range of metal ones in assorted sizes.

Ive had used ex army jerry cans for years if you buy spare sealing rings to fit. They are tough and strong designed to stacked. Get a flexible spout with a filter in it.
£30 for a jerry that is made from cheaper thin metal is a rip off.
