Yes,

- Fuel shortage or supply interruption
- Severe weather
- Civil unrest causing transport difficulties
- Volcanic ash!

Any of the above could cause a breakdown in that system, and they could happen tomorrow. And that's before we start looking at the real SHTF scenarios, such as solar magnetic storms, war, etc.

the supply chain is only as strong as its weakest link, some small thing happens, could just be a hiccup in the scale of things but that could be enough to stop food getting into the shops and watch it all start unravelling.

saw how quickly this happened in the fuel protests!

We had less than an inch of snow today, it had all melted just as quick as it fell. Nurseries and schools have shut early. Airport has cancelled flights and some trains are cancelled, makes you laugh at how soft we have become
