I think Somerset's farmers will be going the GM route now breeding cattle and sheep with gills!!

not sure about Somerset as a whole, but on "the levels" farming is a secondary occupation, a lot of the area is more industrial than farming, the top occupation is the extraction of peat for garden use, when all the peat has been extracted from one location it is then turned into a lake for wildfowl and production is moved to another location nearby.
