Cream - uks - 3 February 2012 If you see DOUBLE CREAM on offer buy it and turn it into butter which can be frozen for up to 3 months. It takes 10 minutes to convert the DOUBLE CREAM into butter with a mixer. Just made 2 lbs of butter from DOUBLE CREAM that was on offer. http://www.allotment.org.uk/allotment_foods/Making_Butter_at_Home.php RE: Cream - Scythe13 - 3 February 2012 That's pretty cool. Freezing it in this weather would be easy.....just put it outside. When unfrozen, but still kept cool, butter stays good for quite a while as well. Keep them coming UKS. RE: Cream - Skean Dhude - 4 February 2012 That is a good site. I use it for reference for my gardening stuff. |
