North Korea threatens 'merciless' action over drills - mikebratcher69 - 19 February 2012

The Korean peninsula remains technically at war because the 1950-53 Korean War ended with an armistice, not a peace treaty.
Looks like we're in for a new series of M.A.S.H.

Most observers think that war will soon break out in Iran but I see the possibility of war erupting in Korea. If this occurs we will again be involved but we should be aware that the Moslem states might well take advantage of the situation and join in with the backing of Russia and China. With the Financial situation in the West it could possibly be the demise of the West. Great nations rise and fall! We should also consider South America who are not happy with the US involvement in their countries in the past and of course, Argentina and the Falklands! Kenneth Eames.

I think one will work as a trigger for the other. If Korea starts, America is distracted, Iran has their opportunity. Or vice versa, Iran starts, Korea can jump in uninterupted.
