I'm going to play the odds: "Asteroid has 1 in 625 chance of hitting Earth"
I'd bet my life on those odds. Not really much of a panic yet. Also, they have 30 years. Won't be too hard to fire a nuke at it. The blast won't destroy it, but could be enough to move it off course, which is really all that we need to do.
