In theory, if you're not doing anything wrong, it wouldn't matter. But if they used the TV or computer screen, do you think they'd make a video database of how different people 'enjoy' certain websites? Haha, I bet there's some right weird people tugging at weird sites! Like a marmite fetish or something haha.

AHHHH but wait they can isnstall software to acces any connected cameras COVER your laptop camera or they'll be seeing just how much enjoyment your getting from that marmite site scythe......

but how will they do it? and is it legal in the UK?-we aint America-not yet! ok so i've got a webcam on the laptop, anything else?, TV is a very old Sony model with a Freeview plug in, mobiles are 2 very old, very basic Nokia's.

You may be technical right but you are being monitored by them now. The only problem they have is information overload so it is of little use to them in stopping attacks. Just useful for idiots with big mouths and generating reports after an event.
