Yep these are sold under a number of brand names. What appears to be the same thing branded Anytone is to be had new on ebay for around GBP 150.
See what I mean about them being essentially a CB radio that just happens to have 10m capability?

I have seen similar oldish rigs for the last few years, sold on ebay for about £40ish. Lightspeed... Is it correct that an RF burner could be used with a CB like this? Thanks, TL

Yep, and RF amp would work with this, you'd just need to be careful to regulate the rigs output power to be withinthe amplifier's input limit.
