Interesting but I'll keep to simple thank you.

A 150lb generic recurve crossbow £80-£150. Spare String £7.50 to 11.00 (ish)
A slingshot (magnum bands) £17.50 and £4.50 for a set of replacement bands.
Slingshot ammo? Large steel nuts work for me.
