I wonder if you good people would participate in a quick poll about what sort of EDC jacket you use
Fleece ( 200 / 400 fleece civvy or tactical
Soft Shell ( thats a fleece with a water resistant outer shell)
Cotton, Poly Cotton etc Jacket Civilian
Military Jacket / Smock cammo or plain
Other ( biker jacket etc )

Workwear waterproof short jacket with detachabe sleeves.

non-descript 3 in 1 jacket. For me it must feel good and comfortable to wear, be waterproof, warm plenty of pockets with some internal pockets, quiet material, hood, quaility cuffs, good zips and external fastners.

my trusty 20 quid british army parka, removable lining, plenty of pockets, best damn 20 quid i ever spent, been wearing it for years
