Scary news of the day - NorthernRaider - 29 July 2012

Just been reported on sky that there has been an outbreak of EBOLA in Uganda, min 15 victims so far, Ebola FYI is a viral hearmouragic fever with no cure, no treatment and a 99% mortality. Basically the virus disolves your organs whilst you are alive.

lets hope no Ugandans come here for the Olympics then-or we will be in a right mess! can you imagine that spreading through the thousands of spectators in the Londonistan stadium.

RE: Scary news of the day - Paul - 29 July 2012

The Ebola incubation period (time between infection and the onset of symptoms) ranges from 2 to 21 days.

Now that's a bit worrying if you look at the Olympics and international travel.
Imagine just one carrier in the Olympic village.

RE: Scary news of the day - Kenneth Eames - 29 July 2012

I do hope it doesn't come here. It's not only a threat from Ugandans but from our own people who visit Uganda. Many of our sheeple are doing voluntary work trying to help Uganda. Kenneth Eames.

Yes pale people can get it. This is not really "new" news you get outbreaks every year, how it affects us is having this bloody Olympics going on, but other than that these outbreaks are contained.

RE: Scary news of the day - Timelord - 29 July 2012

As of last night there had been approx 14 fatalities with an approx 80% mortality rate or something like that. Only a couple of years before it was something like 300 to 400 that died in the same area before the disease was isolated effectively.
