any one know of any good backwoods camp site's within 3 hrs of Brimingham

Best people I know for that area is the lads at Ludlow SG cos they have a woodland area in the Ludlow area. SD may know some place/ But I only know camp sites and tiny little spots along the GU Canal near Hatton.
Oh yes have a look and see if the WILD CAMPING forum is still up they used to have a good list of out of the way places across the UK.

Been there a few times. Cool place. Camped in the woodland the first time, near the river. 2nd time in the field cause we took a big tent. Not been for a year or so, wonder if the old bloke is still there, Ted I think.

hell...3 hours? with a decent vehicle you could be on Dartmoor in 3 hours! if you want wild camping thats the place to be!Big Grin
