I'm just wondering with everything thats going on in the world these days, if anyone can guess what event is going to kick off THE event? i mean we've got:Iran,Iraq, Libya, Syria, Israel, Palestine, Russia, Afghanistan, The EU crisis, now we've got China and Japan squabbling over some poxy little island that just happens to have Gas and Oil reserves...to say nothing of Terrorists both foreign and domestic, then you've got greedy MPs, militant Trade Unions, Socialists and communists.....gives us a lot to choose from and any one could be the catalist!!

socialism as a threat, now thats old school xD
personally i reckon the biggest timebomb is america, russia and china, at least 2 will clash sometime in the next decade, and it wont be pretty, if all 3 get involved, well forget about it, we're fucked.
but whose to say, in my opinion the changing climate is what i sort of blame, scientific studies show that civilisations traditionally collapse with the shifting of weather patterns, why should our civilisation be any different to those before us? chances are a bigger and better civilisation will rise up from the ashes of this one, after all look at ancient greece. 1 civilisation collapses, 400 years later 2 great city states rise to power and dominate the world!
and we preppers will be the phoenix's emerging from the ashes of a dead society

Our government, EU, and then the yanks although there's not a lot between them.
Besides, I like knitting patterns. At a party they're a great laugh.
Try reading a few lines out when you've had a few.

Call me mental but...When I heard that part of The Great Wall Of China had collapsed it sent the coldest shiver down my spine......Somewhere in History there must have been a legend about the end of the world if the wall collapsed?
I must have read it somewhere at some point, why else would I have had that shiver...Faint alarm bells are ringing in my ears since this happened and I can't help feeling something real bad ass is in the air... I feel it in every pore of my skin, In every blood cell...IT'S COMING......
O.K I will go and take my meds now

just thought if anyone had any ideas what would kick off first, seems my guess is as valid as anyone elses, and thats all it is..a guess!

No they dont, Civilisations historically fall when they become " civilised" IE Decadent, Liberal, Multi cultural, equal rights etc.
all the great civilisations were destroyed from within usually with some twist of Fraternity, socialism etc acting as a cancer. As soon has a society with members who think they are " Entitled" that society is finished.

What do you mean its coming? More and more nations are getting ready for war, more and more grain harvests have failed, Economies are collapsing, bloody law 7 order has completely collapsed in many westen cities, Its bloody here, NOW
800 million Europeans, 40 million north africans wanting to join them, most of the member nations are bankrupt, public services are being cut whilst taxes rise, more extreme laws get passed and more liberties are killed off, those who are rich are moving into gated communities or employing body guards, ordinary people who can rationalise are becoming preppers, the sheeple make noises, the urban gangs get bigger and better armed, The politicians are fiddling ( their expenses) as Rome, London, Paris, Brussels, Madrid, Berlin, Athens etc burn.
